You know, I was just thinking… what if (your) Ada bumped into Mr Spock? (Hey, this IS an alternate reality. Whatever.) A meeting of the minds? Or would it be, ahem, more “metaphysical”…

Ada is a great character. I like her distaste for all things art/poetry (even though I appreciate those forms). She’s passionate for a life without emotion.

Sydney, I enjoy the non-comic immensely and hope you continue to waste your time on it, actual remunerative work permitting. Perhaps someday it may even warrant, dare I say, its own animated treatment.

Boy, Hark! A Vagrant! is busy this afternoon! I’ll have to imagine my own messed-up sex until it clears.

Not that I have messed-up sex or want it or anything.

So our Ada is merely an oval Tintin-head. Her left leg still looks cool bent under like that. And she lights her pipe with live coals! That’s cool. And so the drawing wasn’t approved by Lovelace – would it have been approved by Byron?

Can’t you just imagine her traipsing down to the lab-or-a-to-ry to crank a few gears and zap a few lightning bolts? Can’t you just imagine her finding out that the Organist has Abby Normal’s brain?
