Lovelace and Babbage

NEWS! Lovelace and Babbage will be published by Pantheon Books in the US and Penguin in the UK in April 2015. As featured in Wired and the BBC, THRILL to the amazing exploits of the crime-fighting duo at the dawn of the digital age, only at 2dgoggles.com

Lovelace and Babbage started on this blog with what was meant as a one-shot gag. The internet failed to understand that it was a JOKE.. there was in fact no comic about Ada Lovelace and Charles Babbage fighting crime. There still isn’t really but it’s now the world’s longest punchline. If you’re here for the comic you need to be at 2dgoggles, that’s where all the action is. And the monkeys. Oohh, so many monkeys.

Agricultural Report

A short film I made in 2004 with the help of the Irish Film Board. It started out as a way for me to learn how to animate on a computer– I had only ever worked hand-drawn until then! but went on to play in over a hundred film festivals. It was nominated for an Annie Award for Short Subject, where it lost to a Disney short… it did win Best Short Film at the Taormina Film Festival though. It was produced by long-suffering Barry O’Donoghue at Barley Films.
